As detailed in previous articles, Mike Filsaime’s company GrooveDigital is behind the new GrooveFunnels suite of digital marketing tools.

So what is GrooveSell?
GrooveSell is their application for creating checkout pages and taking payments online. It’s designed specifically for things like digital products, ebooks, courses, or subscriptions.
If you’re an infopreneur, author, coach, course creator, etc… GrooveSell can handle your needs.
Online GrooveSell reviews promote the application as a disruptor for competitors in the space such as JVZoo, ClickBank, SamsCart, PayKickStart, to name a few. The software application was built with simplicity in mind. Meaning, after creating an account, you won't have to go out and also hire a 'tech' guy in order to use the software.
Important note: This is NOT a shopping cart solution for businesses with physical products. If this is what you’re looking for, consider GrooveKart (another GrooveApp) or Shopify to better fit your needs. GrooveKart is a premium solution at a lower price than Shopify.
GrooveSell Free: Is it Worth it?
A big mistake would be to dismiss GrooveSell for being a “free” tool. It really is a sophisticated platform where vendors can create professional product funnels with all of the bells and whistles you'd expect from a premium application.
As a vendor (selling your product/service online), you have total control over your shopping cart. YOu can add embeddable check-out forms, setup free trials, installment payments, recurring payments... even add coupon codes to your offers.

This is beyond what is typical in most "free" software plans...

GrooveSell Vs. Competitors
I imagine that GrooveSell’s making their competitors nervous as the all-in-one platform is giving their software to customers at no cost. What could they charge for this sales and affiliate software?
Some competitor examples:
- SamCart starts at $49.95/month
- PayKickStart starts at $99.00/month
- ClickBank, has a $49.95 activation fee.
ClickBank also charges a “transaction fee” for each sale, and make you dish out an additional $2.50 just to withdraw your earnings!
With Groove: Again, there’s no transaction costs, no hidden fees, ever.
Why are they doing this? I am NOT a Groove insider. I haven’t spoken to Mike Filsaime’s team about this, but it seems to me they’re using the free GrooveSell application as an 'irresistible offer' to attract businesses to the Groove platform.
As people learn of all they can do with the software, it’s almost a no-brainer for businesses and entrepreneurs to move their products to the platform.
The bigger their platform, the more of an engaged community they can build around their software. This will only translate into more success for GrooveDigital...
GrooveAffiliate: Built in Affiliate Software
There are plenty of options when it comes to affiliate software. If you’ve launched a digital product online, you know that hosting an affiliate program usually isn’t cheap.
FirstPromoter (a popular solution) for example, starts at @ $50/month.
BackPack integrates nicely with ClickFunnels similar to how GrooveSell integrates with GroovePages, but is only available through the ClickFunnels Platinum plan ($297/month).
If you go with a solution like JVZoo or ClickBank (as mentioned above), there are up-front fees and transaction fees with each sale.
Again, when you move your offer to GrooveSell, these costs are eliminated..

A great way to "test" out their affiliate software is to create a free account, log in, and check out their affiliate dashboard for yourself. You'll get a better idea as to how it holds up against other (paid) affiliate management options.
If you're interested in promoting GrooveFunnels yourself, you'll be able to track referrals, review earnings reports, view invoices / payments, and access affiliate tools.
If you decide to run your own affiliate program with the free app, this user interface is exactly how the backend will look for your affiliate team.
They make setting up your affiliate program easy... Another challenge with running an affiliate program is attracting and recruiting active affiliates to promote your product or service.

GrooveSell’s Marketplace: Build Your Affiliate Army
What if you could launch your new product, and with a few clicks, get it in front of a community of active affiliates that are thirsty to promote your offer?
As the Groove community grows, they plan to build out their Groove marketplace. This will be similar to JVZoo or ClickBank’s marketplace.
This too should make competitors nervous, since plugging into their large affiliate community is one of the benefits for choosing JVZoo or ClickBank.
The Groove marketplace will be a hub for both vendors and affiliates. Vendors can make their offer available to the community. Affiliates can log in, search for products or services to promote, and start sending traffic to these offers.

Important note: At the time of this writing the Groove marketplace has not yet launched, so we don’t “know” how well this will pan out.
However, in just the last six months, GrooveDigital has built a large community of users, affiliates, and paying members. Their facebook group alone has more than 86,000 members with new people joining daily...
A quick Google search for anything “Groove” related, reveals 20+ pages of content created by their active affiliate base. Just searching "GrooveSell reviews" alone pulls up several pages of articles!
Judging by the company's ability to quickly build community around their flagship GrooveFunnels offer, I think they’re on the right path to build a thriving marketplace full of both vendors and affiliates.

My recommendation is to create a free account, log in, and start making your first funnel to test their product. Create a shopping cart and get a feel for the software yourself.
The free price tag really makes it a no-risk way to see if the platform is a good fit for you and your business.
