In late September 2020, GrooveDigital’s Mike Filsaime and John Cornetta announced a new partnership between GrooveFunnels and the chat software platform Chatmatic.
The Groove team where joined by Travis Stephenson, the CEO of Chatmatic in the LIVE announcement. The announcement was an opportunity to discuss the strategic partnership, share a demo of the chatbot software and explain what this means for both Groove’s free and premium users.

GrooveFunnels & Chatmatic
Mike Filsaime and John Cornetta understand the need for social media and the benefits of an automated facebook chat software. But rather than create a “Groove” chat application, they have invested into Travis Stephenson’s Chatmatic solution.
As new partners with Chatmatic, the Groove team will now begin integrating Chatmatic inside of the GrooveFunnels interface. The software will be baked into the Groove UX.
Users will have the ability to create their funnels, sales pages, integrate the GrooveAffiliate program to their offers, set up email automation (internally with GrooveMail or via a third party email service), and now also have the ability to create a social media or SMS sequence without having to leave the Groove dashboard.
GrooveFunnels Chatmatic Partnership: What's in it for Me?
Free Users
All free GrooveFunnels users will now have the ability to use Chatmatic and have up to 250 subscribers at no cost. This is not a free trial that will expire in a week or two. You can go in, create a free Groove account, and start creating your first facebook chat sequence.
Neither Chatmatic or GrooveDigital will ever ask for a credit card.
Unlimited Plan
If you’ve paid for full access to GrooveFunnels via their lifetime plan, you not only get up to 250 Chatmatic subscribers at no cost, but you also get access to premium training from Travis Stephenson and his team. Groove Platinum users get access to:
- Template Club: The company releases two new templates a month. These are fully built out chat sequences for different niches that you can take and use as you wish. You can use these templates for your own business or to generate leads for clients.
- Agency Accelerator: This is a full training system revealing what to do inside of messenger. How does messenger marketing work? How do you use it to generate leads? How do you find (and close) new clients via messenger?
In the Agency Accelerator program, Travis Stephenson takes you over the shoulder as he sets up everything in his marketing from the facebook ads to the messenger sequences.
Paid Groove users can now publish pages, sell products, fulfill orders, email, and now also follow-up and communicate with leads and facebook traffic using Chatmatic.
Thanks to Agency Accelerator, paid users have Travis Stephenson literally hand-holding as you learn how to put this all together and get the most out of the software.
The CEO of Chatmatic also discussed doing a training specifically for Groove members showing how we can use his software to create an income as a Groove JV affiliate.
The Groove affiliate program is a great way to recoup the cost of the software. With the Chatmatic templates and free affiliate training, users can not only offset the costs of joining Groove, but also earn an added income stream with the JV program.

Keep in mind that this announcement is very new. At the time of this writing, the chatbot interface has not yet been integrated into the Groove dashboard.
In the meantime, the GrooveDigital team has created a “secret link” for free Groove members to login, create a free account, and get started… Paid GrooveFunnels users should have their Chatmatic user accounts within the next week or two.

Chatmatic: What I Like About the Software
This is really Chatmatic 2.0 as they’ve recently relaunched with a new look and added features. Similar to GrooveFunnels, Chatmatic is a drag and drop builder that’s easy to use.
The CEO has added all of the chat software features that really move the needle for your business. Inside the live demo, he shows how to add delays, bring in animations, add GIFs or emojis, and he demos other features that are available and make your chats more personable.

One cool feature he discusses is the “comment trigger.” If you have a facebook fan page and someone comments on your post, you can set it up to trigger a sequence in their facebook inbox...
This is a great (automated) way to engage with potential customers/clients, and build your subscriber list.

Chatmatic Marketplace
They’re adding a marketplace where Chatmatic users can create and sell or buy templates for different topics, niches, or industries. For example, if you find a client that’s a real estate agent, you could build a chat sequence from scratch, or you can log into the marketplace, purchase a real estate chatbot template, and use it as the framework for your new client's automations.
If you have an interest in creating these templates, you can post them for sale inside of the marketplace. This too can be an added source of income to your business...
Groove & Chatmatic: What to Expect
This is an exciting new partnership for both GrooveFunnels and Chatmatic. A lot of info was shared in this announcement. It appears to be a premium chatbot software that will integrate nicely inside of GrooveFunnels.
The free (lifetime) plan is a great (no risk) way for the company to introduce new users to the chat platform. As an unlimited lifetime Groove user, I’m looking forward to diving into both this new tool and training program as I haven't experimented much yet with chat software...
